International Services Center is a non-profit, non-sectarian social service agency dedicated to helping thousands of immigrants and refugees each year to achieve self-sufficiency. ISC’s broad services include English and Cross-Cultural Training, Refugee Resettlement, Employment and Economic Advancement, Anti-Trafficking, Immigration Counseling and Representation, Translation and Interpretation, Fingerprinting, Entrepreneurship through Agriculture, and Community Outreach.
ISC assists clients in reaching their highest potential and helps them to meet the challenges of their new lives in the US, while also contributing to the strengthening of our local communities. ISC advocates for public policy that ensures the fair and equitable treatment of immigrants, refugees and others and works to increase public awareness of the great contributions of foreign-born persons to the cultural and economic richness of America.
ISC is a member of the United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), the nation’s oldest and largest non-sectarian network of non-profit organizations serving immigrants, refugees, and other foreign-born people worldwide. It is also a United Way member agency.
International Services Center of Cleveland is headed by its Executive Director, Karin Wishner and overseen by a Board of Directors. The organization is funded by grants, contracts, private funding, United Way of Greater Cleveland, and through the generous support of people like you.
